East Anglia Fire Doors works alongside our sister company, East Anglia FireScope (EAFS).
EAFS provides independent fire door inspections and passive fire protection surveys, while EAFD specialises in carrying out fire door installation, replacement and remedial works.
Keeping these functions clearly defined allows inspection findings to remain evidence-led while providing clients with access to a practical route for completing necessary works.
EAFD can also work from inspection reports produced by other competent organisations. There is no requirement for an inspection to have been undertaken by EAFS.
A Repair-First Approach Where Appropriate
Not every defective fire door needs replacing.
Where a door set can be appropriately remediated, we will consider repair before recommending complete replacement. Where the condition of the door set, available evidence or extent of the defects means replacement is the appropriate solution, we will explain this clearly.
The objective is straightforward: the right solution for the individual door set and the building, not unnecessary work.
